For my assignment I have been working on my 3d modelling recently. I have been working on a 3d model for my game level and I am making three sections for my game. My three sections for my platform game is to start of with the player getting stuck in a maze and they have to work they way around it in a time limit without the enemies finding them. The second section is to get from one end of the map to the other without dying by the obstacles and the enemies to get to the cannon room. The third and final section is the cannon room were they player has to get to the cannon without dyeing from enemies and being defeated by the obstacles to kill the bad guys before they invade the planet.
I have been working on the maze part of the level which I have been of course making again in 3ds max. I have used a dirt texture for the ground however for my game I am keeping the graphics nice and simple so I am keeping most of my game blocks and features to being bright colours, I am doing this for this choice so that the game appeals to a more wider variety and so that I can focus more on my programming later on as in my opinion that is the area Ill need to focus more time on.

I have also been working on a 3d model for my enemies. On a survey what I did people voted aliens over zombies on what they prefer and they voted fantasy over realistic so I have gone for something a bit odd in design which is to have illuminati pyramid aliens. Because I am making a world for cubes I thought an enemy for their world should be a different shape to the cubes so I settled on a pyramid which then gave me the idea for the illuminati pyramids.
