Audio Research

For my game I was planning on focusing my game more in other areas such as the coding but from some feedback from my game some people have said it could use some audio to make the game feel more interesting when you go into it.

Since I am focusing in other areas I am going to just put in some background sound for each scene of my game.

Here are the links below of were I have gotten my sources of audio for my game.

From what I have found out for audio is that if I wanted to have something to be dramatic or intense which I want for my game then the audio needs to be fast pasted and loud of tone to get the feel of either danger on some kind of intense scene.

For my  victory scene for audio like that I would want something to be more cheerful and happy tone to it for this to be the case it must not sound gloomy with a low pitch and of course not fast past or loud as it not a fighting scene. I found that it needs to be something calming to hear which is why I have chosen the audio of New Dawn from the bensound site which uses violins for a calm presence and manner as the audio gives the feeling of as it is not rushed or loud, when it increases its volume it picks it up slowly as it gives it a gentle presence to the scene of my game.

For my defeat screen I have found out that perhaps having less sound may be better as it would not be as cheerful if I take out the sound which is why instead of having music for the defeat screen the is going to be thunder sounds and wind instead of music as it would make it unique to the other scenes in a barren dreaded tone.
