Mood Board Research

I have done some mood boarding to find out what sort of enemies and themes I would possibly like to implement into my game as well as inspire me to what I could possibly put into my game. In the end this is the stuff I found and put in my mood board but over all I may do some things completely different in my game.

From the mood board I have found that there are a lot of different types of fantasy creatures I could go, some of the most popular would be dragons and goblins so I will more than likely add them since they are popular as it could get people to want to play the game as some people could want to play it from people who are into movies such as Lord of the rings which features mythical creatures such as goblins and this would be good as films like that have drawn a large audience meaning it could help connect more people to want to play a game like mine.

It has also shown me from my mood board research what some of these creatures may behave in their movement and their sort of style as to how they would perhaps fit into a game like mine.

In terms of overall theme of the game I have found from mood board research that I have found a lot of games go for a more whimsical art style which I was thinking of doing before but from this research I have found out if I go for perhaps a pixel art style then I could make the game stand out from the rest of the competitors.

Overall this has given me good insight into possible enemies which may go into my game as well as to how the game may look and feel when it is finished and presented as its final piece.
