Today I began doing Photoshop for the first time for my game design course. I began with learning all the different tools so we could make our own poster later on using images which were supplied to us.
I used a tool called polygon lasso, this was used to cut out the models which were used as the stars of the show, after I cut out the area I inversed it so it would not cut out the inside.
After I did that I used the explosions which were given to me to make it look like the gun was firing and that there was an explosion going on to represent that it is an action film, I also used a background image to show were it may even be set.
After that I added in some text and used the blending tool to add a glow and colour to the text, I used wrap text to also give it a bend and here is the final image.
