Reflection #12

For this week of game design i have been fixing some bugs with my game as well as adding in my sprite animation for my rain which i made the previous week.

For the bugs in my game i have not fixed them all of but I have fixed some like some animation errors were they would appear in the wrong place.

I have added in rain animation to my game and it took longer than I thought as I had to adjust each animation to with the previous one as I made prefab versions of them so that I can copy them and put each of the animations next to each other looking smooth and polished of.

I realised that the rain animation was in front of the clouds that I had made making it look a little odd so I went back into Photoshop and made a couple of 2d rain clouds so that the rain looked like it was coming from behind the cloud a bit more to look a bit more in depth as well as to hide were the rain animation starts.

Here is an image of how it looked like in the finished version of my defeat screen.

rain and clouds in scene

Overall this week has gone well with the biggest issue of the rain animations taking a bit longer than expected to setup for my scene. For next week I am going to begin working on my score system and making sure it can increase the score when the enemies are taking damage.
