For this week I have been working on my UI for my playable game scene as to what the player can see for the statistics what they will need to know to help them play the game, these statistics would be for the tower health, and the timer for how much longer you have to defend the tower for.

I have made a timer and count down script so the timer at the top right decreases and when it hits 0 it goes to the victory screen as the player at that point will have survived long enough to win.

I had to use the unity UI engine so that it would work with the UI on the screen the player to know what is going on as well as having to use the unity scene management system to change the scenes when the timer gets to 0. I did this with an if statement, if the timer is less than 151 then the time will start to decrease by 1 every second by the delta time. If time is less than one the scene will change to a different scene associated by its number in this case + 2.
I have put each of them in different colours for specific reasons. I put them all in different colours so at a glance the player can know which one is which they are looking at. As well as that the tower health is in red because I have found out from research red is associated with danger and alert people usually see red first so I put it in red so they are fully aware how much health is left. I put the score in green because green is clear to see as it stands out from the blue background as well as it is a colour which is associated with positivism in games. I made the timer in purple so that it again stands out from the background and is a different colour to the previous two choices which stands out from the others.
I have also now made a Victory screen and made it possible to get there after the timer runs out through and if statement which I figured out how to do with some trial and errors and from information I have learnt to program in an if statement.

I have added it into my game with buttons with restart, main menu and quit game with some firework explosions to give it more detail as well as to leave the screen.

For the last bit of this week I have added in my goblins to which I have managed to get them damaged with their own speed value and health, I have made them twice as fast as my cyclopes but can be taken out in one hit as they are very fast with their speed as it forces the player to have fast reactions in hitting it or they will lose a life.
Here are my goblin sprites and and animations of what I have in my prefabs and asset folder for my enemies.
