This week of game design I have began working on prototyping my game and have also been working on the pixel art creations for villains and scenery for my game.
I have gone into Unity and have done a basic layout for my game menu for what it could look like and have experimented with making the game layout itself whether I would use the grid method were I get a tile and paint it out in my world or put it in piece by piece from what I researched of how I could make my game. I have found the grid method to be quit useful as it is definitely more efficient in placing out the blocks piece by piece neatly and correctly while on the other hand if I were to place it piece by piece it would take longer on making the fore ground.
I have also been working on the art based parts of my game such as the background and enemies one of which is a cyclops which I have quickly drafted.
What I have currently drafted in my background art.

2d Cyclopse, the colourse are on the top left are reference colours to what I used.
